Abstract
A mathematical model and a computer program were developed with the objective of offering a theoretical method, with experimental confirmation, that really aids the automotive engineer on the obtention of the better efficiency of the braking process of a tractor-semitrailer, under any operating conditions. The mathematical model and the computer program were developed in association with Mercedes Benz of Brazil on design development between this company and São Paulo University (Brazil).
This article is a description of this computer program developed as a system, including the flow chart, functioning, analysis possibilities, computer program features, applications and benefits of the program.
