Abstract
A generic approach for the modelling of information in relation to mobile agricultural equipment is presented. This modelling is a prerequisite for the communication between and within agricultural equipment. The approach is based on a high level of abstraction for the reproduction of agricultural equipment. This generic approach is worked out for equipment to apply products. Further the concept and the requirements for a hierarchical coordinate system to be used in agriculture are presented.
