Elastomeric Sealing Materials for Transmission Fluids

Abstract
Automatic Transmission Fluids (ATFs) are being changed due to the more severe operating conditions and the need for a “life of the car” fluid. These changes in the ATFs can have a very negative effect on some traditional elastomeric materials and leave others unaffected.
