Simultaneous Engineering of Systems

Simultaneous engineering methods must be expanded to treat automotive systems. A brief discussion is given of a conceptual methodology. A specific example is given of a three part bumper system. Practical questions that arise in the process are given. The capabilities desired to treat automotive systems are described.
