Simulation Analysis of Self-Excited Vibration in the 4ws System

Hydraulic systems in general sometimes exhibit problems related with the hydraulic pressure vibration, for example, occurrence of vibration with an abnormal noise. In this paper, in order to such problems of mechanical steering control block of active four-wheel steering system adopt in Toyota Soarer model, simulation models of them were made, which consist of the rear wheel steering actuator, the power steering gear box, the steering angle transmission cables, the pulley assembly, the intermediate joints, etc. And verification of calculation data was done by the comparison with the bench experiment data, and they were studied by means of simulation analysis.
