Abstract
A new mobile DBS TV receiving system has been developed which uses only one antenna (not divided) and tracks the satellite using steptracking. Through miniaturizing the antenna to the utmost, the total size of this system without a radome has been reduced to 200mm in height, 300mm in diameter and weighs only 5kg. The decrease in C/N (Carrier to Noise ratio) caused by the tracking error in the azimuth plane is within about 0.4dB.
