- Experiments were conducted at the rotor inlet of a 110 mm turbocharger radial inflow turbine wheel to study the effect of changes in A/R on the flow field entering the rotor. A three-port cobra probe was traversed axially above the rotor tip to obtain velocity triangles at a wide range of operating conditions at each of three different A/R vane settings. In addition, values of the rotor inlet mass average properties are presented.
