The fundamental body resonance with vertical bending modes makes the idle shake level worse in some cases. The paper describes that one of the practical body design concepts for idle shake improvement is to make the joint stiffness of front side structure efficiently increased. And it is shown that the idle shake level was actually improved by adopting the effectively designed body joint structure.
