Automated Installation of Delron Inserts in Aircraft Floor Boards

An innovative method developed for dual part surface sensing allows for drill and drill/insert installation for any floorboard material. Included are those materials that require depth sensing capability to counterbore to depth from the sandwich panel top side skin, and those that require the same capability locating the counterbore depth from the panel bottom side skin.
