Abstract
Advances in electronic technology have allowed John Deere to develop two sophisticated new dashboard instruments for their new 60 Series 4-wheel drive and 55 Series row-crop tractors. The new instruments make use of a serial communication bus and surface mount manufacturing to provide the most intelligent monitoring system to be offered as standard equipment on an agricultural tractor.
