Abstract
Après avoir rappelé l'intérêt de la suralimentation volumétrique sur les moteurs de moyenne et petite cylindrée et examiné les solutions actuelles, l'auteur présente un procédé original de suralimentation intégrée développé par la Société LE MOTEUR MODERNE. Le principe de fonctionnement est rappelé. Le compresseur expérimental réalisé sur la base d'un moteur bicyclindre à plat est décrit. Les résultats expérimentaux relatifs à la qualification complète du fonctionnement du compresseur et à son adaptation moteur sont présentés. Globalement le compresseur permet d'augmenter le débit massique d'air de 40 à 50% par rapport à un moteur à aspiration naturelle pour un coût énergétique net représentant 30 à 40% de l'énergie perdue par frottement dans le moteur. Les conclusions de l'étude et les perspectives de développement sont présentées.
After a reminder of the volumetric supercharging significance for medium and small engines and the examination of actual possibilities, the author presents an original design of integreted volumetric supercharging process developed by LE MOTEUR. MODERNE Company. The principle of the supercharging process is explained. The experimental superchanger band on a flat-twin engine is described. The experimental results of supercharger caracteristics and engine compatibility are presented. Globally, the integrated supercharger increases the air mass flow by 40 to 50% according to a natural aspirated engine with an energetic cost of 30 to 40% the friction energy lost in the engine. The conclusions of the work and the futur prospects are presented.
