Determination of Causes of Voids in Plastic Attachment Bosses

The purpose of this paper is to illustrate the use of computer-aided experimental design and analysis to determine the cause of voids in plastic attachment bosses. Through analysis of experimental results, it was determined that the injection molding process variables impacted the size and distribution of voids in the attachment bosses.
