- Work carried out by FIAT on metal belt C.V.T.s since 1974 is illustrated briefly and the electronic control transmission developed for a 2 liter displacement engine is presented.Finally, the results are provided of fuel economy tests carried out on car with 5 speed transmission and with electronic control C.V.T.
