Requirement on Driving I.C. for Automotive LCD

THIS PAPER describes a design guide for a driving Integrated Circuit (IC) of a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) for automotive application.

Many LCD Driver ICs are now available at market places, however, most of the ICs are not very suitable to advanced automotive LCD.

This paper describes important parameters of both LCD and its driving IC to optimize display performances.
