- A systematic review of the psychological literature reveals that there is a multiplicity of factors that can affect and interact with human performance. This paper describes some human performance lessons that can be learned from the Air Florida Flight 90 and Pan American Clipper 759 accidents. It suggests enhancing current training programs in specific areas. In addition, the factual information necessary for a detailed investigation of the human performance aspects of an accident is outlined.
