Content: The Automatic Bus Diagnostic System (ABDS) was tested and evaluated at the New York City Transit Authority in a demonstration program for the Urban Mass Transportation Authority This paper describes the system and its operation. Specific examples are detailed. Evaluation results and future plans are discussed.
