GM Commodore and J-Car Trip Computers

The Australian instrument designer is faced with unique requirements due to small production runs, operating environment and country topography. These requirements are reflected in the design of GM Australia's Commodore and J Car Trip Computers. This paper reviews the design concepts, operating principles and construction techniques for these instruments.
