Statistical Applications in Automotive Urethane Molding

Statistical techniques have been used to improve manufacturing processes. Examples using several levels of statistical sophistication are presented. Some of the problems with the introduction and acceptance of statistical thinking is included. A statistically designed experiment reduced scrap from 50% to zero.
