Authors Abstract
Content
A thorough study of the forces in the suspension components of a new tandem axle concept revealed very high parasitic forces due to friction. By reduction of friction and by adding some resilience the forces were considerably reduced giving longer life and extended load carrying capacity to the system. The way how this was achieved is aimed to be shown in this paper.
