Content
The anatomy of the major structures of the neck are presented including the anterior throat structures and the components of the cervical spine and associated structures. Basic neck movements and generalized muscle actions are described.
Anatomical relationships of the bones, ligaments, muscles and joints of the cervical spine are emphasized as a foundation for a clear understanding of the structural elements involved in neck fractures and dislocations.
