The Snowmobile Safety and Certification Committee, Inc. (SSCC) is a self-regulated mechanism used as a safety arm by the snowmobile industry. Membership to this organization is open to individuals and groups, private and public.
By analyzing accident and injury statistics, the committee has discovered great potential for their operator safety programs.
Major goals of the SSCC include increasing the number of marked and maintained public trails and continued co-operation between snowmobilers, the snowmobile industry, and the government. All is in the interest of snowmobiler training and safety.
