The Gas Turbine Engine in Small Craft

The lightweight gas turbine engine, which was originally a development of and for the aircraft industry, is finding increasing use in the propulsion of small marine craft. With the inception of this trend, problems peculiar to marine gas turbine applications soon became apparent.

This paper deals with some of those problems and their solutions.
