Abstract
The introduction of Chevrolet Vega 2300 models is intended to fill a need for a small, economical, durable, and well-styled car built in America to American tastes. This paper gives details of the design of the Vega, including styling of the chassis and body, as well as the power train (including transmission, fuel system, lubrication system, and engine). Detailed specifications of all aspects of Vega design are given in an Appendix.
