Abstract
This paper demonstrates that linear lumped parameter models of proportional fluid amplifiers are valid until the resonant frequency of the output receiver is approached. The reported experimental results are for variations in the output load resistance only. Variations in power jet pressure and output impedance may change the frequency where the amplifier departs from the predicted response.
The experimental procedure and frequency response test results are discussed.
