Dual Usage of English and Metric Units

The fact that different countries use different dimensioning systems spurred the New Products Engineering Group of John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works to develop a system for interchangeability of parts manufactured in their factories. This paper discusses how the group undertook their assignment.
