New Trends in Air Transport Maintenance

This paper will describe the present trends in air transport maintenance. Emphasis will be placed on new methods, equipment, and programs being developed for condition testing. The relative costs of maintenance to total operating costs will be explored. Conclusions will enumerate the developing “new” trends in aircraft maintenance.
