Reinforced Plastic Fabrication Processes

This paper covers the broad aspects of fabrication processes that are currently being used by reinforced plastic fabricators serving the aerospace industry. These processes are categorized and discussed with reference to photographs and schematics of typical operations.

Critical aspects of specific techniques are enumerated. The paper is directed toward technical men not inimately familiar with this subject and who may benefit by gaining an overall picture of what is actually involved in working with these reinforced plastics and what possible application they may have in other commodity areas.
