Gas Turbines for Missile Support Services

Gas turbines have advantages as prime movers in missile systems ground support services. Functions of gas turbines are electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, and shaft power, heating and cooling, and pumping. Advantages of gas turbines include multifuel capability, light weight, small size, high reliability, and others. Present gas turbine powered missile support units are shown, and results are discussed.
