Authors Abstract
Content
Realistic evaluation must be made of the limitations (such as mass ratio) as well as the potentialities (such as high specific impulse) of free radicals as propellants before significant advances can be made in developing them to the point of being useful high-energy rocket fuels. Their suitability in solid, liquid, and gaseous forms of propellant is discussed.
