Abstract
A DESCRIPTION of the structural improvements made in the Allison V-1710 engine is given here.
In accomplishing these improvements three requirements were considered of prime importance. These are listed by Mr. Gerdan as being:
- 1.Maximum installation and production simplicity.
- 2.Interchangeability.
- 3.Flexibility.
