PM Burning Performance on PGM Single Nano Catalyst Technology

To inhibit thermal aggregation of the platinum group metals (PGM) particles that were the active sites of three-way catalysts, PGM Single Nano Catalyst Technology has been developed. The effect was verified by applying this technology to PM burning catalysts. As a result, the release of active oxygen increased when the carbon burned. Moreover, the carbon burning speed was improved. It was clarified that PGM Single Nano Catalyst Technology was expected to improve the performance for the PM burning catalysts.
