Development of NV (Noise & Vibration) Performance for FR Vehicles With Hybrid System (1-Motor, 2-Clutch system)

The goal of new hybrid vehicle development is to strike a balance between high fuel economy performance and a high level of dynamic vehicle performance. In order to satisfy this target image, a 1-MOTOR 2-CLUTCH hybrid system + 7-speed AT powertrain containing a high transmission efficiency clutch & step gear transmission has been adopted. In addition, when the system is viewed from the NV standpoint, it is necessary to reduce noise and vibration phenomena caused by the engine in low background noise environments (there are many driving scenes that exist under low vehicle speed & high engine load condition), even more than petrol vehicle. This report introduces approaches to reducing vehicle noise and vibration for new hybrid vehicle development.
