How two drivers' behavior of two vehicles in adjacent lanes influences each other when one of the drivers is going to make lane change was investigated by a basic experiment on a driving simulator. Based on the experiment result, a model for predicting cut-in in a lane changing was constructed and the performance was evaluated.
