Abstract
In a hybrid system, engine start attended with vibration occurs frequently in the interests of reducing fuel consumption and emissions. To cause this vibration without any relation to the driver's operations, the driver feels unnatural easily. In order to reduce the vibration, a new technique combined with multi-body dynamics model, in-cylinder pressure prediction method, and motor-generator control model has been developed. This technique was applied to a hybrid vehicle with V6 engine, and it was confirmed that the prediction and the test result were correlated well, and some items were effective in the vibration reduction.
