Abstract
To achieve the practical use of the PCI (Premixed Compression Ignition) combustion corresponding to the transition operation, a smooth combustion transition process control between PCI combustion and conventional combustion without exhaust as deterioration is necessary. In this study, the combustion feedback control system by a real-time detection of rate of heat release is applied. Then the transition control method by an engine integration control cooperating with the air management system and the fuel injection system is examined.
