Regulations of exhaust gas emission has been tightened all over the world, which requires accurate Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) sensors for more accurate control of aftertreatment systems. Also, demands have been increasing to install sensors closer to an engine where heavier vibration occurs. Thus, it is necessary to improve vibration resistance of the sensor. This paper discusses the development of high accuracy EGT sensor with anti-resonance structure.
