Body Shake Design for Convertible Car With Powerplant Dynamic Damper

This paper discusses body shake of a convertible car with powerplant dynamic damper. Wave-Based Substructuring approach (WBS) is applied to analyze frequency response function with frequency domain dynamic stiffness and loss factor of hydraulic engine mount. The WBS approach is able to shorten CPU time and to operate easily to optimize the body shake.
