Study on Recording Trigger of Drive Recorder on Low Friction Road

This paper deals with construction of recording trigger algorithm of drive recorder at dangerous situation such as near miss on low friction road. The trigger signal is decided from the difference between the desired vehicle behavior and actual vehicle behavior by using the quasi-steady-state condition. As the result, it is shown that the algorithm for the trigger of drive recorder at low friction road is effective.
