Abstract
This paper discusses the effective utilization of tire force for improving vehicle dynamics. A sensing technology that can detect the tire force based on the transformation of the tire and suspension bushing has been developed. By applying this sensing technology, ABS can be controlled around the μ-peak of the tire to shorten the stopping distance.
