Using Human Models for LCP (Local Converting Point Product) Design: An application of the V5 Human Modeling Tool in the Communication Domain

The V5 Human Modeling Solution has been used for LCP (Local Converting Point Product) Design. An extensive ergonomic analysis of a new LCP, conducted in a 3D virtual world, has resulted in an improved product with reduced number of product design iterations. Application of Human Modeling Tools can reduce both labor costs and time-to-market and help ensure that network elements are “user friendly” and safe.
