Abstract
The size of an average instrument cluster is much larger than what is actually required to present information on vehicle conditions. There exists an opportunity to present all of that information on a PDA size (3.1″–3.8″) color display. The use of color in different areas of informational gauges, such as temperature or fuel levels, provides another way of presenting the driver with information, while also visually enhancing the appearance of the display.
