Abstract
The Bulk Current Injection (BCI) asserts itself more and more as a rational, cost efficient, repeatable and simple to apply test method. These are the reasons why more and more manufacturers select the BCI as test method. This paper describes the phenomenon which is simulated by this test method, explain the application of this test method and provide an overview of the different standards and manufacturer's requirement which are applying the BCI to test the immunity of the electronic devices used in automotive, aeronautic and military industry.
