This paper describes the effect of both engine and oil flushing on the improvement of fuel economy of urban cars. At first, measured data on the fuel economy of both engine and oil flushing are mentioned. Then theoretical considerations on the measured data are shown. Finally the author shows the necessity of regular flushing to reduce emission of the greenhouse effect gas like carbon dioxide.
