Abstract

Content: This paper outlines the design and development of the Fire Suppression System (FSS) option for the 2005 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor (CVPI). The FSS is designed to sense impact and activate two pyrotechnic hybrid devices that discharge fire suppressant foam.
