Authors Abstract
Content
A practical approach to update the nonlinear aerodynamic models based on flight test data is introduced and validated. Mainly, the approach analyzes the response in both time and frequency domains. Then it uses the well-known dynamic-modes equations to find correlation factors for the stability-derivatives. The approach was validated for a business-jet, and found to eliminate more than 75% of the mismatch.
