Abstract
A traffic congestion support system is one of the remarkable driving safety features in ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) technology. We have developed a fusion sensor, combining a millimeter-wave radar and a stereo camera, for use as a forward recognition sensor that is an integral part of the system. The fusion sensor is introduced below.
