The Guide is in a multimedia format to effectively present the principles of occupant crash protection relating to the military operational environment. It provides guidance to Army program and acquisition managers, developers of operational requirements, system safety engineers, and project engineers responsible for preparing the detailed occupant protection specifications for tactical vehicles. This paper describes the Guide's components, navigation system, and its utility.
