Abstract
This paper describes the use of 1-D Fluid Flow Simulation Software Models of different complexity to model different aspects of Internal Combustion Engine Lubrication Systems.
It shows how such models may differ in order to achieve the analysis objectives and reliable results for the different aspects of the system. It also shows how sub models can be used to compose system models which reflect the interaction of the engine's fluid systems.
