Integrating new students into the aero design team helps keep Georgia Tech in winning form.

“WORK REALLY HARD TO BE LAZY.”

A member of Georgia Tech's Aerospace Design Build Fly (ADBF) team spoke these words with little forethought. In retrospect, this quote does somewhat sum up the unique culture of the team-a culture that contributes to the continued success at the annual SAE Aero Design collegiate competitions. Two competitions are held (one in the east and one in the west), and for each of the past three years, ADBF has placed first in the Advanced Class and Micro Class in the competition it chose to participate in. This success is no coincidence; it is made possible by the team members who embrace the culture and contribute their time and effort day in and day out to make back-to-back winning possible.
