HFTC4, Operator Seating and Ride
HFTC4, Operator Seating and Ride Committee is part of the Human Factors Technical Committee. It is responsible for Standards relating to seat dimensions, occupant restraint systems and whole-body vibration transmitted to the operator which is reduced by seat suspensions. The committee is also responsible for testing Standards for durability, ride performance and operator restraint systems. The committee and maintains a Liaison with ISO/TC127, ASABE, and the other HFTC committees as appropriate. Participants in the SAE HFTC4 committee include OEMs, suppliers, consulting firms, government, and others across the construction and agriculture industries
